NSSA Nationals happens at around this time every year and features the best young surfers from accross the country, all vying to claim the titles that will deem them 'the best' in the country. These titles are super prestigous and claiming one is no small feat. The surfers who have claimed these titles in the past have gone on to bigger and better things.
These photos are of Carissa Moore and Coco Ho, two rippers from Hawaii. Carissa has 11 NSSA National titles, thats more than any other male or female surfer in the history of the competition! She is my favourite surfer and i believe she will go on to become the best female surfer. However she is finishing school before she joins the WCT, an honourable decision. She's a true inspiration as she is a kid with oodles of talent but a sweet, humble personality and will definitely go far!

But this year both Carissa and Coco are not competing and i think that Malia Manuel will be the girl to take out the title for the Open Womens category. She's a super progressive surfer that will give Carissa a run for her money when she decides to join the WCT, i cant wait to see the battle between these two in years to come!
